Falcon Eyes Bi-Colour LED Lamp Sophiez SO-150TDX On 230V

The SO-150TDX by Falcon Eyes is a modern LED solution, which provides extremely soft light. The individual LEDs are not visible, but instead one soft blur of light is emitted. The wattage of the SO-150TDX is 150 watts. The light is emitted within an angle of 66 degrees, where the CRI value of 95 ensures natural colours. The brightness of the light is infinitely adjustable by means of the built-in touchscreen. It is also possible to adjust the colour temperature, from 2800K to 6500K. You can power the SO-150TDX with the included power adapter or an optional 14.8v v-mount battery.

Usage SO-150TDX

The SO-150TDX is indispensable for video recordings in your studio and on location. This type of light is also being used more and more often when taking portrait photographs. The soft, widespread light ensures a natural reproduction of the subject. Thanks to the spigot connection, the SO-150TDX fits on any sturdy lamp stand, see optional accessories. On the sides, the lamp is equipped with pivot points. This allows the lamp to be adjusted to almost any angle. By means of the control panel on the back of the lamp you can control several lamps at the same time with one control panel. The only thing you have to do is to put the lamps on the same channel. There are special modes for the film industry, with which you can simulate thunderstorms, among other things. The Sophiez lamps with 'TDX' in their name do not work together with the 'TD' versions. For example, you cannot control the SO-48TD wirelessly with the SO-108TDX. But you can with the SO-68TD. You can use this lamp with the RC-7 Remote Control of Falcon Eyes. See optional accessories. Operation with the DMX512 protocol is also possible, using optional UTP cables and a DMX panel.

Special effects SO-150TDX

With the SO-150TDX you can display 9 special effects. The SO-150TDX mimics the light of thunderstorms, candles and a TV screen.

Connecting the DMX panel

The lamp has an RJ45 plug to connect to a DMX panel. This allows you to control the light based on the DMX512 protocol. The last picture shows this connection.
